Kelly Clarkson’s website just got a makeover!

“Hey everybody. I have decided that having two individual websites (kellyclarkson.com & kellyofficial.com) was a little confusing so we’ve combined our efforts to simplify everything. So starting today kellyclarkson.com is taking over!” the 29-year-old singer wrote on the new site.

“You can see all of my tweets (not that they’re groundbreaking), all of my blogs (whenever I feel like ranting or I find some great music), and any other news here on this site! Hope y’all like it! More to come!” she added.

Kelly also shared that she and her band “are really excited and currently gearing up for this record! It’s gonna be a fun record to tour!”

Kelly Clarkson Form Girl Group Called Already Famous

Kelly Clarkson has formed a girl group known as Already Famous.

The American Idol winner tweeted on Friday that she is heading to the studio to record music with her band members and former backup singers Jill and Kate.

"I'm off to Oklahoma to record some songs with @jillandkate! I love random writing and recording with friends!" Clarkson wrote.

The trio already have their own Twitter page @AlreadyFamous3, where they have been tweeting since mid-June.

When asked by a follower why they had decided to form a band, the group responded: "We've been writing & singing together 4 over 4 years so we thought why not record it. We love singing harmony! (sic)."

The Twitter page also revealed that Clarkson will not be the lead singer. Instead, all three members will take the lead on different songs, according to another tweet from the group.

"We switch on different songs," the group wrote. "We all sing lead, alto, and soprano at different points."

Last month, Clarkson insisted that she is not angry over the leak of her new material, telling fans that she cannot wait for them to hear the finished product.

In May, she revealed that her new single will be released in July, though that date has since been pushed back to August or September.

In a recent twitter post, OG American Idol Kelly Clarkson exclaimed that the single from her fifth album would drop this August. An hour later, she retracted that statement, posting again that her "calendar was messed up" and that the song may not come out until September. Okay, sounds like Clarkson needs to look before she leaps with her tweets and fact check her dates.

"Okay, please do not get angry but it might be September for my single," she wrote. "My calendar was messed up! I'm so sorry! BUT it might be late August! It's a huge bummer waiting but I promise it'll be worth it!"

Hartman to support Kelly on SA tour

The joint winner of South African Idols 2009, Jason Hartman, has been chosen to support American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson during the South African leg of her All I Ever Wanted global tour.

Clarkson and Hartman will perform at the Durban Arena at the International Convention Centre on Sunday, March 14, after kicking off the tour on March 12 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Joburg.

After the Durban date, the final SA concert will be at Cape Town's Grand Arena at GrandWest, on March 17.

Idols fans already know a large part of Jason Hartman's musical gifts: the 29-year-old made such an impression with his singing and performing that in May 2009, he was named the co-winner of this year's incarnation of the global talent search.

But Idols only gave a small window into Hartman's dazzling talents which together make him as exciting an artist as any who has emerged out of South Africa's five seasons of this popular competitive reality television show.

His debut album, On the Run, is a 13-track collection which he not only wrote himself but for which he played many of the instruments (guitar and bass, for starters).

Clarkson was the first to prove that winning American Idol can catapult a music career to worldwide success.

She has sold more than 20 million albums since her 2002 American Idol debut.

Her current album, All I Ever Wanted, has shattered records with the lead single, My Life Would Suck Without You.

The song earned Clarkson her first No 1 single in the UK.

Concert attendees can expect to hear the latest hits from the tour's namesake album, along with Clarkson's signature pop anthems, among them Since U Been Gone and Because of You.

Now, the problem is that, when Taylor was giving the thanks to the fans, Kanye West came up to the stage, stole the mic, and said something like "i'm very happy for you, and i'll let you finish, but Beyone have one of the best videos of all time, ALL TIME..",

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? "Hey everyone, Ryan here. So…..i’m in Europe on vacation with my wife yesterday when I get a flurry of emails with links to gossip sites and media outlets saying “Kelly clarkson throws producer Ryan Tedder under the bus re: Already Gone” etc etc etc… Alleging that I copied myself or “pulled a fast one” on Kelly Clarkson. This couldn’t be farther from the truth and the whole thing is absurd….however, I need to actually read what the hell is going on, make a call or 2, and be fully informed of it, then I assure you I will have a proper, respectful response. I don’t take allegations of this nature lightly- ESPECIALLY when it’s in regards to artists I respect and admire. Nor do I let things like this go unaddressed. Producer and songwriter Ryan Tedder is a bit taken aback over Kelly Clarkson’s assertion that he ripped off his own work on Beyonce’s 2008 hit “Halo” for her new single “Already Gone.”

On Sunday, the former American Idol winner forced her frustration over comparisions between the fourth single from her charttopping All I Ever Wanted album and Bey’s smash ballad. Kelly accuses Tedder of using the same backing track on both singles and insists she begged RCA executives not to release the song.

Tedder has issued a statement in response to Clarkson’s remarks, in it the musician writes:

“‘Already Gone’ is one of the best song I’ve written or produced since ‘Bleeding Love’ and stands tall on it’s own merits apart from ‘Halo.’ They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically, & lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce into recording over the same musical track, the idea is both hurtful & absurd. I think when people hear ‘Already Gone’ they will hear what I hear–one of the greatest female vocalists on earth giving her most haunting and heart-breaking performance on a song she helped write. I challenge people to listen and form their own opinions.”

Hace 27 anos, en un pueblito llamado Fort Worth en Texas, nacia la mejor voz que alguien puede escuchar. Creciendo en Burleson, Texas, separada de sus hermanos (divorcio de los padres), Kelly acudio a la escuela, sabiendo que su futuro seria la musica. Salvo que no sabia cuando llegaria esa oportunidad, ademas de que queria seguir la carrera de biologa marina. Cuando se graduo, se fue a Los Angeles, California, se podria decir que a probar suerte. Luego de intentos fallidos en la carrera musical, un departamento incendiado y tener que vivir una semana en su auto, Kelly volvio a Texas.

Su intima amiga Ashley, se entero de un programa nuevo de la cadena FOX, y la inscribio a Kelly porque sabia de su potencial.

Un 4 de septiembre de 2002, Kelly gana el programa con el 58% de los votos, frente a un pobre 42% de su competidor, Justin Guarini.

Al ganar, no solo obtenia un millon de dolares, sino que un contrato discografico con RCA, su objetivo.

Rapidamente Kelly se convirtio en una de las grandes figuras de la musica mundial, ganando Grammys, VMA's, ACAP's., etc.

Like the singer’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” single, the cover depicts a shiny, happy Clarkson, one ready to step out of the shadows of the brooding My December and reclaim her pop throne. Personally, the image kinda reminds us of another “comeback” album: Britney Spears’Blackout.

If you think the cover looks, well, altered, so does Ms. Clarkson. She even blogged about it: “it’s very colorful and they have definitely photo-shopped the crap out of me but i don’t care haha! whoever she is, she looks great.” She also professed her continuing love of the Twilightseries, but that’s neither here nor there.

Getting back to “My Life Would Suck,” thanks to the Amazon MP3 store, you won’t have to wait until its radio debut on January 19th. The store is currently streaming a 30-second preview for the song, which was produced by the “I Kissed A Girl” writing duo of Dr. Luke and Max Martin.Based on the 30-second listen (we’ve already heard the whole thing, but still), it’s obvious that Clarkson is embracing the pop again as herAmerican Idol-winning pipes glide over a bed of driving synths. It is quite Katy Perry-ish, but with a much, much better vocal (Simon Cowell would be proud).

More good news: According to Amazon, the MP3 will be released January 16th. Clarkson is “in a period where she wants to take on the pop world again,” RCA general manager Tom Corson told the WSJ. “She’s ready, and she’s got all the right support.”
